Who handles the data

What we collect

The email you type in the invite, the date of the request and the version of this notice you accepted.

To prove the request and prevent abuse, the submission also keeps technical data: IP address, browser, language, time zone and country, and where you came from (previous page, landing page and campaign tags). To limit repeated submissions, we use a key computed from the connection, kept apart from the signup and deleted after one hour.

The site uses no cookies and no analytics. The origin and landing page stay in the tab’s session storage until you submit; email and IP are not stored there. The service that hosts the site may log technical access data, for security.

What for

To let you know when something new is born at Pântano. Nothing else. We do not sell or pass your email to anyone.

Where it stays

In a Pântano database, the same one used by the mirt list. The signup is tagged as Pântano. Access is limited to the people who run the list, and the page does not say whether an address was already on it.

For how long

Until you ask to leave, or until Pântano stops sending these notes.

How to ask for removal

Write to info@pantanohq.com with the subject “Remove my email”. We delete it within 15 days and confirm by email. At the same address you can ask to see or correct what we hold, as Brazil’s data protection law (LGPD) provides.
